Solid Shirts for a

 Semblance of Subtlety

When it comes to defining his own unique flair, a man's shirt is the most important ingredient. This versatile garb can be adorned at almost anywhere from  daytime, smart casual or evening occasions. For the precision of the occasion's dress code, we have an array of options to hand-pick from.

Spread Eagle Collar

For men with a thin, oval or  oblong face, this classic style looks perfect. It features your collar bone that makes the portion of the collar look tidy and elegant. In both formal as well as semi formal dress, you will see this modern collar. It goes well with a broad tie knot. Both endpoints are at a distance of 5 from each other.

Cutway

Collar

People with a long and sharp face look extremely good wearing

this cutaway collar that looks great for after work get togethers.

Windsor tie knot best compliments the cutway collar.

This style's collar points end at a 6.5-8" distance from

each other and maintain a snug fit around the neckline.

Pointed

Collar

The Point Collar style is defined by the

fact that the tips of the collar are pointed.

The spread between the points is minimal (at the very narrow range of 3.5′′ within the range of 1.5′′). If you wear  four-in-hand tie know, your collar will not reveal any of the tie beyond the knot on either side. The points of the collar would not be

hidden by the lapels when wearing a jacket. When you have a broad face, this collar flatters.

Mandarin

Collar

The short unfolded stand-up collar style is a mandarin collar, standing collar, band collar, Mao collar or choker collar on a shirt or jacket. At the neckline, mandarin collars begin and usually rise two to five centimetres vertically. The style derives its Western name from Qing-era China's mandarin bureaucrats who used it as part of their uniform. Also the design is very similar to the Nehru collar that is often used in the clothing of modern Indian men.

Wing

Collar

The classic winged collar is the perfect choice for a gentlemen to pair with a traditional tuxedo. The winged collar with the tips standing up and pointing horizontally is a heavily starched short collar. "The tips of the collar imitate wings, hence the term "winged collar". During the early 1900s, "the golden age of formal wear for men", the winged collar enjoyed a chic period.
